Special disability sensitization and awareness campaign

KULAFAI: Promoting Inclusive Valentine’s Day

On a day when the world celebrates love, Lifeways sought to foster inclusivity for vulnerable and special needs children. Through raising awareness, promoting acceptability, ensuring equality, and spreading love, we reached out to children with disabilities and their families in our community schools.

The recent beneficiaries of this year’s Valentine’s Day program were the pupils and teachers of Kulafai Rashidun primary school in the Susansbay community. Gifts were shared among the children, resonating with the message of love and the importance of inclusiveness for all.

ORTHODOX: Spreading Love and Awareness

Orthodox pre-primary school in Kroobay community became a significant part of Lifeways’ Valentine’s Day initiative. By focusing on raising awareness and promoting equality, we worked with pupils and teachers to share the message of love and inclusiveness.

The children received gifts, which symbolized not just Valentine’s Day celebrations but also Lifeways’ commitment to fostering an environment of acceptance and care for children with disabilities and their families. The initiative was well-received by the entire community.

ST JOSEPH: Celebrating Inclusiveness

St. Joseph’s primary school in the Susansbay community joined Lifeways in celebrating an inclusive Valentine’s Day. With a focus on equality and love, the program reached both pupils and teachers, ensuring the message resonated deeply within the community.

Gifts were distributed to the children, reinforcing the values of acceptance and care for children with special needs and their families. The initiative strengthened the bond between schools and communities while spreading the spirit of inclusivity and love.
